Dyl Pickles
Our Story
Dylan was diagnosed with Down's syndrome at birth along with a scary heart defect. He had to undergo 2 open heart surgeries before the age of 1 and the first one at just 5 days old. Since his heart repair he has taken off and is now a healthy almost 4 year old.
He is doing great in pre-school and still gets excited to ride the bus every day. Enjoys watching the animals whether at the zoo, aquarium or farm country. He can't get enough Sesame Street with Elmo and Cookie Monster. Music is his favorite and does not like to wait in between songs. Loves to splash in puddles or at the splash pad. His little sister, Elena is his very best pal but he is also enjoying socializing with the kids in his class. He always says "hello" or "hi" and gives the best heart melting hugs. Dylan really is such an important part of our family and we are so lucky to have him for a son/big brother!
**We will be wearing our Dyl Pickle shirts from last year so hopefully you've kept yours. It we have enough interest in ordering more shirts then I'll do another order but for now just plan on wearing last years shirt or a green shirt you already have.
About The United Angels Foundation
United Angels Foundation (UAF) is a nonprofit, parent-to-parent support group for families of children with special needs (our Angels). Our goals at UAF consist of providing interaction, education, and resources to our parents. From newborn visits, to group activities for parents and children, we strive to be there every step of the way. Funds raised from our Walk with Angels event will specifically go towards financing our educational seminars and group activities. These funds are also used to administer our newborn and new member program. Thank you for your support of all the Angels in our community!
