Our Story
We're so grateful for our boy and the family and friends who have loved and supported us thoughout this whole beautiful journey.
Benny came into this world with a bang when he suprised us all with an extra chromosome. He is the light of our family and radiates the purest joy.
This Feburary we celebrated his 2nd birthday. In two years we have watched him grow and develop and become strong with every roll and sit, every push and crawl. He is so close to walking! Hopefully this year at the Angel Walk, Benny will walk alongside us (for a liitl bit) as we support this wonferful community that has supported us.
When we first reacieve Benny's Down syndrome diagnosis, we were so terrified. Some days are still a little scary but we are not terrieied anymore. He is amazing and perfect just as he is. His smiles are magic and his hugs have the power to mend a broken heart.
About The United Angels Foundation
United Angels Foundation (UAF) is a nonprofit, parent-to-parent support group for families of children with special needs (our Angels). Our goals at UAF consist of providing interaction, education, and resources to our parents. From newborn visits, to group activities for parents and children, we strive to be there every step of the way. Funds raised from our Walk with Angels event will specifically go towards financing our educational seminars and group activities. These funds are also used to administer our newborn and new member program. Thank you for your support of all the Angels in our community!
