Our Story
My name is Corbin, I was born when my mom was only 23 weeks and 5 days along. I spent the first 1.5 years in the hospital before being able to come home. I have cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease, underlying heart issues, I'm often oxygen dependant, and have seizures that are a result of brain bleeds I had from being born so early. I am also g-tube fed. I have the best attitude and I tackle every single obstacle in my way. I was told I would never walk, never talk, and never eat. I do things on my own time, but I am crushing goals and living my best life. Life started out very hard and is still full of battles, but my heart is strong, and my victories are sweet. I touch the lives of everyone I meet, after all it's not every day you can say you've just met an angel.
About The United Angels Foundation
United Angels Foundation (UAF) is a nonprofit, parent-to-parent support group for families of children with special needs (our Angels). Our goals at UAF consist of providing interaction, education, and resources to our parents. From newborn visits, to group activities for parents and children, we strive to be there every step of the way. Funds raised from our Walk with Angels event will specifically go towards financing our educational seminars and group activities. These funds are also used to administer our newborn and new member program. Thank you for your support of all the Angels in our community!
