Come As You Are
Our Story
My nephew Gabriel is a ROCK STAR! He loves Nirvana, so we found it fitting to name our team "Come As You Are".
Gabriel was born with autism and cerebral palsy. He has touched our lives, opened our hearts and brought us together as a family. Gabe was born when I was just 10 years old, so we grew up together and he was, in many ways, the little brother I never had!
Even though he won't be able to attend the walk (he and his family live in Caifornia) we wanted to create Team Come As You Are to honor and celebrate him. We hope to reach our goal and raise money to support the great programs and services that United Angels Foundation provides to our community.

About The United Angels Foundation
United Angels Foundation (UAF) is a nonprofit, parent-to-parent support group for families of children with special needs (our Angels). Our goals at UAF consist of providing interaction, education, and resources to our parents. From newborn visits, to group activities for parents and children, we strive to be there every step of the way. Funds raised from our Walk with Angels event will specifically go towards financing our educational seminars and group activities. These funds are also used to administer our newborn and new member program. Thank you for your support of all the Angels in our community!
