Team Tyler
Our Story
Tyler is a monoamniotic twin that was born at 28 weeks gestation. His parents were told many times throughout the short pregnancy that if Tyler and his twin brother, Zach were to survive they would have severe brain damage as well as being blind and deaf. Not only did they both survive, but are both remarkably healthy .Zach had some lung issues, which he has outgrown and Tyler had a cerebral hemmorage at birth. He is currently eleven years old and has some developmental delays as well as some muscle tone and motor skills challenges. Tyler loves participating in United Angel's events, his favorite is probably bike camp. We're excited to participate in the Walk With Angels for the first time this year!
About The United Angels Foundation
United Angels Foundation (UAF) is a nonprofit, parent-to-parent support group for families of children with special needs (our Angels). Our goals at UAF consist of providing interaction, education, and resources to our parents. From newborn visits, to group activities for parents and children, we strive to be there every step of the way. Funds raised from our Walk with Angels event will specifically go towards financing our educational seminars and group activities. These funds are also used to administer our newborn and new member program. Thank you for your support of all the Angels in our community!
